Neil Simon’s amusing fable, FOOLS, will be presented in the Herndon HS auditorium.
Leon the Schoolmaster arrives in the Ukrainian village of Kulyenchikov, determined to teach the doctor’s daughter, Sophia. He quickly discovers that everyone in the village is under a curse that makes them stupid and unable to fall in love. If he can improve Sophia’s intelligence, the spell will be broken—but Leon only has one day to make it happen!
Will his love for learning (and Sophia) break the curse? Or will Leon fall victim to loveless stupidity for the rest of his life? And why are all those sheep running around?
