St. Timothy's Episcopal Church is a vibrant congregation in Northern Virginia with a history of supporting the arts and music. In 2006 it was determined that the present organ, originally built in 1870, was no longer able to support congregational singing, a growing music ministry, and multiple outreach programs in the community. In May of 2011, a capital campaign was established to raise funds for a replacement pipe organ. The new instrument will be designed to support and enhance both worship and community programs and will be a legacy for generations to come.
