Frying Pan Farm Park presents Raise the Rafters/a FREE Winter Music Series held in the Visitor Center from 2- 3 pm. Liven up your winter afternoons with Virginia Virtuosi, a talented string trio that will take you on a progressive musical journey. Co-sponsored by the Council for the Arts of Herndon and the Fairfax County Park Authority. The first session Jan. 9th, Rhythm Around the World is covering rythymic elements that make each nation's music special. The Feb. 6th concert is Musical Camera Safari . Hear the sounds of the animal world portrayed by a variety of musical instruments. Based on "The Carnival of Animals." The Mar. 13th concert is Who's on First Bass? Explore how music and sports team up. In conjuction with these concerts is Game Days from 2-4pm. Gather friends and family for Monopoly, Dominoes, Backgammon or Parcheesi.
