"THE SMURFS" - Columbia Pictures; Directed by Raja Gosnell. Rated PG; 103 minutes; 2011. When the evil wizard, Gargamel, chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into ours -- in fact, smack dab in the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.
The fun begins before the opening credits roll, with music, food and children's activities at 7:30pm. Then the movie begins at dark. Starlight Cinema’s home is Trinity Center located on Rt. 29 just south of Interstate 66 in Centreville.
