Herndon House Fire Extinguished By Fairfax Firefighters: Updated

HERNDON, VA — Fairfax County Fire & Rescue units were on the scene of Herndon house fire on Monday afternoon, according to a post on the department's Twitter account.

Arriving units observed smoke showing from a home in the 13100 block of Lazy Glen Lane. They located an exterior fire, which they were able to bring under control.

After searching the structure, firefighters determined that the fire had not spread to other parts of the home. By 4:29 p.m., most of the units had left the scene.

No injuries were reported.
