Five Athletes, Trainer, Track Team in HHS Athletic Hall of Fame

The Herndon High School Athletic Department is proud to announce the Herndon High Athletic Hall of Fame, Class of 2015:

• Blair Dehart - Baseball 1996
• Jeremiah Johnson - Basketball 1995
• Suzie Telleysh - Basketball 1986
• Matt Gallagher - Wrestling 1998
• Kristen Hart - Cross Country 2004
• Renee Beerman - Athletic Trainer
  
• Boys Track & Field Team - 1965, 1966, 1967

There will be a ceremony in June to honor this year’s class.

The HHS Hall of Fame Committee convened last month to go over the nominations for this year’s class. To gain induction into the Hall of Fame, 70 percent of the committee’s votes are needed. An athlete must have graduated 10 years ago, and coaches and administrators must no longer be working working in their position.

Nominations can be submitted for the class of 2016, which will be voted on in November. For a nomination form, just click here.

If you nominated an athlete last year, you do not have to resubmit the nomination - it is good for five years.
