Five Things To Know This Week

The town-wide spring cleanup will take place from April 16-20.

1) The Town of Herndon's town-wide spring cleanup will take place the week of April 16-20. Residents may place items to be picked up on their trash day only. Visit the Town of Herndon's website for a list of items that can be picked up during the cleanup. 

2) April 2-8 is National Public Health Week and Fairfax County is providing information on how to keep your family healthy, including tips on living an active life, healthy eating, mental and emotional health and more. 3) The Town of Herndon wants the public's input on their thoughts on Herndon. Take this survey to let the town know how you feel about various aspects of the town. See the Town of Herndon Survey here

4) Master Puppeteer Bob Brown will be at Frying Pan Farm Park on Thursday, April 5 with his new show, Bunny Business. The show is great for younger children and is 40 minutes long. Shows will be held at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Admission is $4 per person for age 2 and older. Reservations for either show can be made at Parktakes Online!, or call the park at 703-437-9101.

5) Adoptions Together is holding a infants and school-aged children from the United States, Korea, China, Columbia and Bulgaria on Thursday, April 5. The meeting will address placement programs, possible assistance and more.
