Offices for the Town of Herndon will be closed Friday, July 3, in observation of Independence Day. Refuse normally collected on Friday will be collected on Thursday, July 2.

Refuse Collection
Refuse will not be collected. Refuse normally collected on Friday will be collected on Thursday, July 2.
Herndon Centennial Golf Course
Friday, July 3 – Open 6 a.m. to dark
Saturday, July 4 – Open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Herndon Community Center
Friday, July 3 – Open 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Saturday, July 4 – Open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Special Event
Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks at Bready Park, 814 Ferndale Ave. Free. Festivities begin at 7 p.m. and include children’s crafts, bingo, food vendors and family music. Fireworks at dark. For more information, visit herndon-va.gov.
