Fox 5 Joining Herndon Festival Fun With Preview Friday

Join FOX 5 Co-hosts Holly Morris and Wisdom Martin as they kick-off the day live in Town Hall Square in historic Herndon. They will preview this weekend’s Herndon Festival with Mayor Lisa Merkel and entertainers, food vendors, rides and crafts will be open!

At 7 AM, Meteorologist Tucker Barnes will report live from the Herndon Train Depot, with a special interview with Town Historian Charles Waddell. After, Tucker will test his skills baking at Great Bread Harvest Co at 7:30 AM and then biking Green Lizard Cycling at 9:30 AM.

A free Zumba class for all residents will take place during the broadcast on Town Hall Square from 7-8 am followed by a free Yoga Class from 8:30-9:15 am.

At 10:30 AM Holly, Wisdom and Tucker will get a “Taste of Herndon”, sampling food from local favorites like McAllister’s Deli, O’Sullivan’s, and Mellow Mushroom before heading to Jimmy’s Old Town Tavern for their signature cocktail at 10:45 AM.
