Generosity Feeds Puts Out Call for Volunteers
They're needed to pack more than 10,000 meals for local children and families.

In Herndon, 1 in 3 children struggle with hunger. Local businesses and families will join together to pack meals at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 30, at Herndon Middle School, 901 Locust St. They’ll pack more than 10,000 meals to be distributed right here in Herndon and surrounding areas.

We need your help! Two hundred volunteers are needed to pack the meals in a single morning. You can register here.
This event is perfect for families who want to serve together or for students who need to complete community service hours.

The Generosity Feeds meal was created by a culinary chef with U.S. taste and nutritional needs in mind. The meal feature black beans and rice and will be distributed in Herndon and surrounding areas through already established community organizations.
Generosity Feeds is a national foundation dedicated to mobilizing hundreds of people to package and feed children in local communities who otherwise would go hungry outside school hours. Generosity Feeds is an initiative of the 501 (c)(3) Replenish Community Foundation, based in Sterling.
