Free Rides: A Birthday Gift From Silver Line Express

The bus service between Metro and Dulles Airport is celebrating the line's first anniversary.

For two days, Washington Dulles International Airport will offer free rides on its Silver Line Express bus in celebration of one year of easy, direct service between the airport and the Silver Line Metrorail, which opened July 26, 2014.

On Sunday and Monday, no fares will be collected in either direction, and no coupon is required. Just hop on board and enjoy the free ride!

More than 272,000 riders have used the bus service since it began service on July 26, 2014, an 80 percent increase over previous service between the airport and the East Falls Church Metro Station. Thank you for riding Silver Line Express!
