Girl Finds Cell Phone Recording Her In Herndon: Police

HERNDON, VA — A man is under arrest after a girl discovered she was being filmed by a cell phone left in her room, Herndon police say.

The girl, a minor, found the cell phone which was recording her while she was getting dressed, and police discovered that the phone belonged to someone that she knew, according to a report from the Herndon Police Department. The incident happened Aug. 29 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.

Police arrested 35-year-old Salvador Arnoldo Lima Reyes of Herndon on a charge of creating an unlawful image of a minor. He is being held without bond.
