Good Neighbors to the Rescue!

We are so excited to have our new high-tech flooring, which we’ll be installing over Spring Break! While ordering it was a rather easy process, actually getting the flooring into the studio was quite challenging.

We had our volunteers ready and waiting, but the delivery truck was late. “That’s OK,” we thought to ourselves, “The company said we only need four people to move the shipment; we have enough people here to do it.” When the truck finally arrived, however, our mouths dropped open. There were three, humongous boxes that must have weighed a ton each! What were we going to do?

That’s when some very helpful people from our next door neighbor, CrossFit Reston, came to the rescue. “Let’s go!” shouted an enthusiastic member, and several hardworking men rallied together to accomplish the seemingly impossible task. Thanks to their strength training, teamwork, and good will, new floors will soon grace our studio -- and our dancers’ feet.
