Good Samaritans Robbed In Herndon: Police

After being given a lift, two men and another accomplice turned on the the neighborly individuals and robbed them.

HERNDON, VA — As they say, no good deed goes unpunished, and two people in Herndon learned that the hard way recently after giving a lift to two men who ended up robbing them.

The victim and a friend, apparently in a charitable mood, gave two people they just met a ride to the 500 block of Florida Avenue, according to a report from the Herndon Police Department.

"Once there, three suspects robbed them of personal property valued at approximately $125," the report states.

Police described the suspects as tall black men, "one wearing a white tank-top, one wearing a green hoody, and one wearing a button down shirt," the report adds.

The incident is under investigation.
