Opening September 3 - “A Sea of Sticks & Stones”, a Great Falls Studios (GFS) juried exhibition of artworks by 34 members at the US Geological Survey National Center, 12201 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston. Continues through September 29.
Friday, September 5. 4 PM - 6:30 PM. OPENING RECEPTION. Free and open to the public. Walt Bartman, founder of the Yellow Barn Studio and Gallery at Glen Echo, Maryland served as juror and will be on hand at the Opening Reception to offer his comments and announce prizes totaling $1000.
The exhibition can be enjoyed in the Art Hall, adjacent to the Visitors Center, in September, Monday through Friday. 8 AM - 5 PM. Visitors must bring photo identification and pass through a metal detector. No packages or laptops allowed.
