Help Herndon High Pack 20,000 Meals For Rise Against Hunger

The public is invited to help Herndon High School and Herndon UMC to pack 20,000 meals Saturday morning for Rise Against Hunger.

Volunteers at Herndon High School, whose mascot is a hornet, will be as busy as hornets Saturday morning, packing 20,000 meals in three hours with Herndon United Methodist Church for Rise Against Hunger.

HERNDON, VA — Herndon High School and Herndon United Methodist Church have teamed up for a food packing event 9 a.m.-12, on Saturday.

The goal of the event is to pack more than 20,000 meals in three hours as part of the Rise Against Hunger initiative.

All are welcome to help pack food at Herndon High School, which is located at 700 Bennett Street. Information is available online for those wishing to sign up for a shift or to make a donation.
