Herndon 2016 Labor Day Festival to Feature Wine, Craft Beers, Live Music
Come to the Herndon Town Green on Monday, Sept. 5 for a big Labor Day celebration.
HERNDON, VA — If you're looking to party hard in Herndon this Labor Day, a big bash on the Herndon Town Green will have everything you need to celebrate: wine tastings, craft beers, live music and lots of food.
The Labor Day Festival runs from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 5 at the Herndon Town Green at 777 Lynn Street, beginning with an acoustic soul, classic rock and blues concert, and continuing with oldies, bluegrass and finally, a Santana Tribute Band called "Gringo Jingo."
"Join us in downtown Herndon for the annual Labor Day Festival featuring unlimited Virginia wine tastings, craft beers, great music, a craft show, outstanding sponsors and delicious food vendors," the Herndon website states.

You will have to pay to sample the delicious wine and beer offerings: a ticket is $20 and you'll need to bring ID, of course. To get into the concert alone, it will cost $5. You can purchase additional beer tastings for $2 per ticket.
If you're getting tickets at the gate, make sure to bring cash. Kids 12 and under get in free -- but leave your pets at home.
