Herndon Bank Gets Robbed: Police

The suspect handed the teller a note and made off with cash, police say.

HERNDON, VA -- Police are searching for a suspect after a man robbed a bank on Elden Street.

The man entered a bank located inside a business in the 400 block of Elden Street at around 6:25 p.m. on Oct. 26 and handed the teller a note demand money, according to a report from the Herndon Police Department.

The man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police described him as a white man in his late 20s or early 30s, and he was wearing a dark blue winter coat and sunglasses.
