Herndon Community Center To Reopen Thursday With Restrictions

HERNDON, VA — Town of Herndon residents will be able to enjoy their community center once again, albeit in a modified capacity.

The Herndon Community Center will reopen its doors Thursday, at 7 a.m. Patrons may use the pool and fitness area, although reservations are required. Personal training and outdoor one-on-one training will also be available with a reservation. The locker rooms, spa, sauna, and racquet ball courts will continue to be closed to the public. All patrons are required to wear masks.

Starting Thursday, the community center will be open Monday-Friday, 7 a.m-4 p.m., and will be closed on the weekends.

The Community Center along with many other town facilities closed their doors in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. All of Herndon's park amenities have already reopened, although restrooms remain closed.
