Herndon Festival Returns For 40th Year May 28-31

HERNDON, VA — Presented by the Herndon Parks and Recreation Department, the Herndon Festival is returning for its 40th year on May 28-31. This will be the festival's second year at Northwest Federal Credit Union, 200 Spring St., in Herndon.

“The Herndon Parks and Recreation Department is thrilled to partner with Northwest Federal Credit Union and to continue the celebration of our town through the Herndon Festival,” said Cindy Roeder, director of the Town of Herndon Parks and Recreation Department, in a press release.

The four-day festival will offer a variety of activities and entertainment on three stages, including a carnival, an arts and crafts show, 10K and 5K races, a fitness expo, a children's hands-on art area, and food vendors. The event is free and open to the public, although a fee will be charged for some activities.

Performers at this year's festival include Broke Royals, White Ford Bronco, Something Brewing, Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen, Kitty Gartner & the Drifting Valentines, YellowTieGuy and De Tierra Caliente.
