Herndon Fire Sends People Fleeing from Building: Reports
Two people were displaced after a three-story apartment complex caught on fire Monday morning.

HERNDON, VA — Two people fled their home in Herndon after a two-alarm fire broke out in the attic of an apartment building early Monday morning, according to reports.
Firefighters were called to the 2500 block of Farmcrest Drive at around 3:30 a.m., where they found flames coming out of the fourth floor balcony and attic, according to a WUSA9 report.
The fire was contained to the upper floors, and two people were displaced.

The fire reportedly started on a balcony before spreading to the attic of a three-story garden apartment-style complex, according to dispatch reports from @NOVAFireBuffs.
