Herndon Government Offices Closed Monday, Oct. 12
Town of Herndon government offices and services will be closed in observance of the Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples' Day holiday.
HERNDON, VA — Town of Herndon government offices will be closed on Monday, Oct. 12, in recognition of the Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples' Day holiday, according to a town release.
Here are some of the other services impacted by the holiday:
- Recycling collection: Recycling will not be collected on Oct. 12. Instead, recycling usually collected on Mondays will be collected on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
- Herndon Community Center: Closed on Oct. 12.
- Herndon Centennial Golf Course: Open from 7 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
