Herndon Hosting New Year's Eve Golf Scramble

LANDOVER, MD — Looking for something fun and a little offbeat in Herndon this New Year's Eve? The town is hosting a "New Year's Eve Golf Scramble" starting on the morning of Dec. 31.

Four-person teams must be at the Herndon Centennial Golf Course at 909 Ferndale Avenue at 10 a.m. for a "shotgun start." You can register your four-person team in the golf shop for $60 per player, which includes the green fee, cart fee, range balls and prizes. Better hurry, however: the deadline to file your entry is Dec. 21.

Your team will be able to enjoy a champagne breakfast buffet from 8:30 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. before the tournament kicks off for a price of $8 payable to JJ Deli.
