Herndon Man Arrested In Forcible Fondling Incident: Police
A Herndon man faces charges of abduction and sexual assault of a victim who was known to him.

HERNDON, VA — Herndon Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a sexual offense and forcible fondling incident that occurred Sunday in the 400 block of Elden Street, according to the weekly crime report.
Police arrested Joseph Dean-Alan Minnig, 34, of Herndon, and charged him with abduction and sexual assault of a victim who was known to him. Police took Minnig to the Fairfax County Adult Detention. He is being held without bond.

During the week of May 11-17, Town of Herndon officers issued 37 traffic summons, including seven for driving with no operators license and one for driving on a suspended license.
There were four reportable traffic accidents in Herndon last week. Virginia State Police define "reportable crashes" as those that result in $1,500 in property damage and/or injury.
