Herndon Man Charged With Abduction, Assault
Town of Herndon police arrested a local man, on multiple charges, including abduction and assault.

HERNDON, VA — Town of Herndon Police officers charged a local man with abduction and assault, according to HPD's weekly crime report.
HPD arrested Victor Alfonso Aguilar Chavarria, 35, of Herndon, and charged him with abduction, sexual battery, and assault of a victim that is known to him on July 27 in the 100 block of Laurel Way.
Aguilar Chavarria was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he is being held without bond.

Between July 27-Aug. 2, Town of Herndon officers issued 127 traffic summons, including 3 for driving while intoxicated, 18 for driving with no operator's license, and one for driving on a suspended or revoked license.
There were four reportable traffic accidents in Herndon. Virginia State Police define "reportable crashes" as those that result in $1,500 in property damage and/or injury.
