Herndon Man Charged In BB Gun Shooting Incident: Police
A Herndon man turned himself into authorities in connection with a July 5 shooting incident involving a BB gun.

HERNDON, VA — Davon Anthony Perry, 22, of Herndon handed himself over to authorities at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, in connection with a July 5 shooting incident involving a BB gun, according to the weekly crime report.
Herndon Police say a female victim was shot multiple times by a BB gun in the 1000 block of Stanton Park Court. She was taken to Reston hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Fairfax County Police arrested Perry and charged him with aggravated assault, brandishing of a firearm, and destruction of property. He was released on personal recognizance.

Between July 6-12, Town of Herndon officers issued 119 traffic summons, including four for driving while intoxicated, 10 for driving with no operator's license, and four for driving on a suspended or revoked license.

There were three reportable traffic accidents in Herndon. Virginia State Police define "reportable crashes" as those that result in $1,500 in property damage and/or injury.
