Herndon Man Charged With Robbing Fellow Passenger On Bus
Herndon Police Department charged a local man with robbing another passenger on a bus traveling through town.

HERNDON, VA — Herndon Police Department arrested a local man in connection with the robbery of another passenger traveling via public transportation through town, according to the weekly crime report.
HPD arrested Mohamad Alie Bangura, 30, of Herndon, and charged him with robbing a fellow passenger who was traveling on a bus in the 500 block of Elden St. Police also charged Bangura with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
HPD transported Bangura to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.

Between Oct. 26 and Nov. 1, Town of Herndon police officers issued 75 traffic summons, including one for driving while intoxicated, four for driving with no operator's license, and two for driving on a suspended or revoked license.
There were eight reportable traffic accidents in Herndon. Virginia State Police define "reportable crashes" as those that result in $1,500 in property damage and/or injury.
