Herndon Man Charged With Sexual Battery: Police

HERNDON, VA — Herndon Police arrested a suspect last Friday in connection with a misdemeanor sexual battery incident that occurred on the W&OD Trail overpass, according to the weekly crime report. Police identified the suspect as Javier Enrique Palma, 56, of Herndon.

According to Police, Palma approached the victim around 3 p.m., on the W&OD Trail overpass in the 300 block of Herndon Parkway, then started to grope her. Although Palma left the scene, police located him nearby and took him into custody. He was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and held without bond.

HPD describe Palma as a white male, standing about 5-foot-10 and weighing about 210 pounds. Police ask anyone with information about similar incidents to call 703-435-6846.
