Herndon Man Returns Home To Discover Burglary: Police
The man was out during the day and returned home to find someone had broken in and taken cash, police say.
HERNDON, VA -- Police are looking for a burglar after a Herndon man returned home to a rude surprise earlier this month.
Police say the victim was out of the home during the day on Sunday, June 17 when someone entered his rented room in the 600 block of Mississippi Drive and took an undisclosed amount of cash, according to a report from the Herndon Police Department.
Police say the culprit may have entered through a window. The case is under investigation.
