Herndon Man Sexually Abused Teenage Boy for 4 Years: Police
53-year-old Eric Judy was a friend of the boy's family, and he abused the boy since he was 13 years old, police say.

HERNDON, VA — A teenage boy was sexually abused for four years by a Herndon man who was a family friend, police say.
Eric W. Judy, 53, faces charges of carnal knowledge of a child (13-15-years-old), taking indecent liberties with a child by person in custodial or supervisory relationship and production of child pornography, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Police became aware of the allegations on May 1 when the victim confided the information to a family member. The victim, who is now 17, said Judy sexually abused him since May 2013, when he was 13.

"The suspect, who was a family friend, often took the child alone on trips in Loudoun, in the Commonwealth of Virginia as well as other parts of the United States," the report states. "Detectives with the Loudoun Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit are reaching out to the other jurisdictions as part of the continuing investigation."
Fairfax County Police arrested Judy Wednesday night at his home in Herndon. He is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
