Herndon Man Steals Car From Auto Body Shop: Police
Police say the man and an accomplice stole it from the parking lot.

CHANTILLY, VA -- A Herndon man and his accomplice are behind bars after police say they stole a car from an auto body shop in Chantilly earlier this week.
Police were called to the 25300 block of Pleasant Valley Road where an auto body shop reported a customer's vehicle had been stolen from the parking lot, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
"An employee of the business later observed the vehicle being driven in the area," the report states. "The employee observed an unknown male and female run away from the vehicle in the area of Pleasant Valley Road."

Police arrested 32-year-old Mohammad Naseer of Herndon on charges of grand theft auto, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and destruction of property. Police say he was also served with outstanding warrants from Fairfax County.
Police also arrested 25-year-old Namrata Grover of Sterling on charges of grand theft auto, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Grover and Naseer are being held without bond.
