Herndon Native Jasmine Commerce to Perform Locally

Herndon's own Jasmine Commerce has come back to Northern Virginia to kick off an East Coast tour with fellow singer/songwriter Rheanna Downey, of California. 

The tour, Love is Underrated, began with a series of private house parties in the Herndon and Fairfax areas. The San Diego-based pair performs at The Old Brogue in Great Falls tonight from 8 p.m. until midnight. 

The tour will then head to New York City, Richmond, VA, and Asheville, NC, before concluding with a few days in Nashville, TN before they return to San Diego. 

The two have been successful internationally. Commerce's song Meant to Be was Nine West's Vintage Voices Competition national grand prize winner. She has also opened for musicians such as Joss Stone for Fashion's Night Out in New York City, as well as Natasha Bedingfield. Downey has toured extensively in the UK and Australia.
