Herndon Parking Garage Access To Be Shut Down For Weeks
The access road for the Herndon-Monroe Commuter Garage will be closed through Thanksgiving, county officials say.
HERNDON, VA -- Construction on the new Fairfax County commuter parking garage for the future Metro Silver Line Herndon station will result in the access road for a major parking garage being shut down for a couple weeks.
The Herndon-Monroe Commuter Garage's access road from Sunrise Valley Drive to the Herndon-Monroe park and ride facility will be closed from Friday, Nov. 10 through Sunday, Nov. 26.
If you still want to use the garage, you'll need to enter and exit the facility from the Dulles Toll Road, meaning you'll have to pay a $1 toll. You can also use the Reston South Park and Ride nearby.
