Herndon Police Discover Damaged Car Was Stolen
Reston man facing charges in theft from Fairfax County home.

Herndon police arrested a Reston man Friday night for an automobile theft after an officer spotted the damaged vehicle being parked behind a local business.
Terrence Malloy, 22, was charged with possession of stolen property, according to a police report.

The officer noticed the car being driven behind a business in the 600 block of Elden Street that was closed for the evening. It was dragging a bumper, the police report said.
The officer then saw a man running away from the vehicle. The police located the man, identified as Malloy, and determined the automobile had just been stolen from a residence in Fairfax County.
