Herndon Police Make Arrests For Aggravated Assault, DWI: Report
Town of Herndon Police issued 147 traffic summons during the past week and charged one man with aggravated assault and another with DWI.

HERNDON, VA -- Town of Herndon Police charged Gabriel Ignacio Garcia, 56, on Dec. 14, with aggravated assault of an individual that is known to him, according to the weekly crime report.
Police also charged Arnold Raul Gonzales, 25, on Dec. 21, with driving while intoxicated, and Scott Hollingsworth Tripp, 37, on Dec. 22, with writing a bad check.
During the week of Dec. 16-22, Town of Herndon officers issued 147 traffic summons, including 1 for driving while intoxicated, 5 for driving with no operators license and 1 for driving on a suspended license.

There were 15 reportable traffic accidents in Herndon during the week. Virginia State Police define "reportable crashes" as those that result in $1,500 in property damage and/or injury.
