Herndon Police to Ride Through Your Neighborhood in a Motorcade
In celebration of the 33rd annual "National Night Out" Aug. 2, Herndon police will have two motorcades visiting the community.

Via the Herndon Police Department
This year, communities throughout Herndon are joining forces with the Herndon Police Department in celebration of the 33rd annual ‘National Night Out’ on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, from approximately 5:10 pm until 8:30 pm. This is the 17th year that the town has participated in the national event, which is designed to heighten crime prevention and awareness, foster neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships and let criminals know that neighborhoods are fighting back.
The Herndon Police Department will have two motorcades visiting the different communities throughout the evening. Both motorcades will visit the Herndon Harbor House beginning at 5:10 pm, separate into two motorcades to visit different communities and meet at the Four Seasons community at approximately 7:50 pm. The mayor, council and town staff will stop by as many communities as possible to meet and greet the residents and to participate in the festivities.
