Herndon Residents Flee Burning Home
Firefighters successfully extinguished the fire before it got much worse on Wednesday morning.

HERNDON, VA — The occupants of a house in Herndon had to flee after their garage caught fire Wednesday morning.
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue tweeted at 8:36 a.m. that they were responding to the 13200 block of Wrenn House Lane, a quiet neighborhood just off the Fairfax County Parkway. They arrived to find "light smoke" showing from the house's garage.
Fortunately, firefighters quickly got the fire under control, and all occupants were able to safely evacuate before the fire department arrived.

There was no extension of the fire, and all units except for two returned to service shortly after arrival.
