Lt. Jeff Coulter retired March 1 and Sr. Officer David Patterson retires April 1.

Coulter, who served as an officer for 27 years, retired on March 1. Patterson, who served the town for 26 years, retires on April 1.
During the presentations Coulter joked that he knew it was his time to retire as a police officer when he was writing a ticket and had to get out his reading glasses to read the drivers license. He said Herndon is blessed to have dedicated officers who make the town a great place.
