Herndon Shoplifter Fights Officer at Kohl's: Police
Police say the woman tried to steal merchandise and then fought the officer who attempted to detain her.
HERNDON, VA — A Herndon woman was arrested after trying to steal merchandise from Kohl's and then fighting an officer who tried to detain her, police say.
Police arrested 48-year-old Dhana Ramaswami at around 3:28 p.m. on May 9 at the Kohl's at 2100 Centreville Road, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
"After a brief struggle with an officer, she was taken to the Adult Detention Center and charged with grand larceny and resisting arrest," the report states.
