Herndon Teen Caught Filming Boy In Red Robin Bathroom: Police
Police have filed charges against a 17-year-old after a 15-year-old allegedly spotted him filming him in the bathroom.

FAIRFAX, VA -- Police have filed charges against a 17-year-old Herndon boy after he allegedly was caught filming a 15-year-old boy using the bathroom at the Red Robin at Fair Lakes Shopping Center.
The investigation began when a 15-year-old boy reported being filmed while using the bathroom on Dec. 26.
"He saw a figure over his head and noticed a cell phone pointing at the urinal which appeared to be recording him," according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department. "When he confronted the person, he realized the suspect was an employee of the restaurant. The victim left the bathroom and told his mom, who then notified restaurant staff."

The family then left the restaurant and called police, who responded to get more information.
"However, restaurant employees would not provide information about the employee to our officers," the report states. "The case was turned over to detectives from our Child Exploitation Unit who wrote and executed a search warrant at the restaurant the following day."

Police identified the suspect as a 17-year-old boy from Herndon, who was not identified in the report. He is being charged with unlawful filming of a minor and possession of marijuana.
