Herndon Weather Is Going To Be Amazing For At Least A Couple Weeks

Beautiful days of temperatures in the 70s are going to be the norm for the next couple weeks, according to forecasts.

HERNDON, VA — It's been nice and mild -- almost fall-like at times -- in the Herndon area the last few days, and the good news is that it's likely to continue, with highs about five degrees cooler than usual for this time of year.

The warmest it's expected to get between now and Aug. 23 is about 83 or 84 degrees, and that will be this weekend. After Aug. 13, the high will be between 78 and 81 degrees. Lows will dip into the low to mid 60s at night.

There's a little bit of rain in the forecast, particularly on Friday and on Aug. 15, but not as much as there had been in previous forecasts.

Typically at this time of year, the high is in the mid to high 80s, so this is quite a cool streak. Whether that portends another brutal heat wave before fall sets in is anyone's guess.
