Herndon Woman Escapes From Attacker Outside Her Center Street Home
A woman told police an unknown man tried to pull her behind some bushes when she arrived at her Herndon home on the night of Aug. 16.

HERNDON, VA — Town of Herndon Police are investigating an attempted abduction that took place Aug. 16 outside the victim's home, according to the weekly crime report.
The victim told police that when she had arrived at her home in the 600 block of Center Street around 11 p.m, when a man walked up behind her. The man attempted to pull the victim behind some bushes, but she was able to break free, according to the report.
The suspect then ran off in an unknown direction.
