Herndon's Very First German 'Wintermarkt' Happening Dec. 14
The event will include vendors, food, crafts and entertainment linked to European traditions.

HERNDON, VA - The first-ever “Herndon WinterMarkt,” a traditional German-style Christmas Market with a family focus is fast approaching.
The event, which is set for Dec. 14 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., will include vendors, food, crafts and entertainment linked to European traditions.
"There's going to German music, German bands, arts and crafts. Most importantly, there is going to be German beer and wine for everyone, so make sure you show up. It's going to be a great time," Lisa Merkel, Herndon's mayor, said on social media.

The event, which will take place at Town Hall Square, is open to the public at no charge, although food, drink and crafts are available at additional costs.
