Homicide In Herndon, Police Investigating

HERNDON, VA -- Police are investigating after discovering a homicide in Herndon over the weekend.

Police were called to a home in the 400 block of Patrick Lane at around 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, May 26. They found 40-year-old Alexander Alfaro Castillo of Herndon suffering from trauma to the upper body, according to a report from the Herndon Police Department.

Castillo was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are awaiting autopsy results before determining a cause of death. They do not believe there is any threat to public safety.
