House of David Ministries continues to lead worship at David's Tent DC

David's Tent DC 2015 - Longest Running Outdoor Christian Worship Event in US History

There is a passionate group of believers in Washington D.C. mobilizing the whole church in America to sustain a continuous song of worship to Jesus, similar to the blueprint of King David’s Tabernacle in Jerusalem. The group is called David’s Tent DC and this ongoing worship is happening within view of the White House and the U.S. Capitol. This years event is scheduled to run day and night from September 11, 2015 through the presidential election November 8, 2016 (10,000 hours). The tent is located on the north side of the Washington Monument facing the Lincoln Memorial.

House of David Ministries continues to lead worship at David’s Tent DC on the first Sunday of each month from 5:00-7:00 p.m. House of David Ministries worship team is called One Desire based on this Psalm:

“One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple” (Psalm 27:4).

Prayer for Israel by Pastor Eric Teitelman

We continue to partner with others to pray for Israel. A very difficult season has fallen upon the Jewish people; terrorist attacks in the land, rising anti-Semitism around the world, and increasing violence in the Middle East.

Praying for Israel must be understood with its foundational Hebraic rooted teachings on the One New Man:

“For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility” (Ephesians 2:14-16).

There is a critical need for the Church to understand God’s prophetic plans for both Israel and the Church. From this foundation, awareness for Israel we pray will become a reality for the Church.

Please join us in standing with and praying for Israel and the Jewish people. Our most important prayers are first and foremost for their salvation. We must also pray for the salvation of the sons of Ishmael for this will bring true peace. And we must pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for the return of our Lord and Savior. These prayers must come by travail of the Holy Spirit and our surrendered unconditional love and support for Israel. These prayer mandates are for the whole church, not just those called to intercession.

God is standing with Israel, and we as the American church must stand with them just as God YHVH is standing with them. Please continue to pray for Israel and the Jewish people daily during this critical season.

About David’s Tent DC - https://www.facebook.com/DavidsTentDc/

The name “David’s Tent DC” has a double meaning. First, the restoration of the fallen Tent of David (Amos 9:11) meant that a descendent of David would once again be on the throne! David becomes king and he locates the place that God desired to dwell, conquered the land from the Jebusites, and moved his palace there from Hebron. David brings the Ark of the Covenant to the former city of Jebus.

Secondly, David put the Ark under a tent he had pitched for it and as an explosion of devotion he commissioned 4,288 musicians and singers to minister to the Lord continually around the Ark, night and day. This 24/7/365 worship tent went on for the length of his reign in the new city of Jerusalem, 33 years. This Ark is now in His Capital City! God is finally home! It brought blessing on the whole nation and it prepared the way for Solomon’s Temple.

David danced before the Lord as the procession of Levites brought the Presence of God into the place where he desired to dwell. The world would never be the same. Jerusalem, the city of all cities, was finally established.

“For from the rising of the sun to its setting my name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering. For my name will be great among the nations, says the LORD of hosts” (Malachi 1:11).
