Huge Changes Coming to Herndon-Monroe Park and Ride
Construction activities will cause some big inconveniences for commuters who use the lot.
HERNDON, VA — Some pretty big disruptions are going to be happening to frequent users of the Herndon-Monroe Park and Ride area.
The Herndon-Monroe Park and Ride surface lot will be closed for construction starting Oct. 31, and the Kiss and Ride area along with the slugline pick-up will be temporarily located during that closure, according to a statement from Fairfax County.
Commuters are encouraged to consider the Reston South Park and Ride as an alternative to parking at Herndon-Monroe while construction is going on.
