The Learning Experience raises over $500 for charity!

The 3rd annual fall festival at The Learning Experience in Chantilly / South Riding raised over $500 for the Wounded Warrior Project.

The 3rd annual fall festival at The Learning Experience in Chantilly / South Riding included a Trunk or Treat, bounce, house, face painting, pumpkin decorating and… philanthropy! The Learning Experience dedicated the event to raising funds for the Wounded Warrior Project and with the help of family donations, the combined efforts of a cake walk and basket raffle raised over $500 for this important cause!

The Learning Experience, an early learning academy, has a philanthropy program that has been greatly successful in teaching preschool aged children the values of selflessness and giving back to their communities. These values are brought to life as children are involved in charity and various acts of kindness. The annual Fall Festival is just one way to support their community. The Learning Experience is also teaming up with a local charity, the Shelter House, to collect new or gently used Halloween costumes to benefit the children of Shelter House. “The Learning Experience® is always looking for real and tangible ways to teach children the power of community and giving. Supporting this cause was a perfect fit and the children really made a connection by helping other children,” said Judy McClimans, Center Director of The Learning Experience in Chantilly / South Riding. The Learning Experience also collected Halloween Candy for Operation Gratitude.
