Loudoun County, VA (September 4, 2020) – A missing senior citizen was located safe last night after she left a Sterling store on foot and was initially unable to be located.

Joyce Alden, 76, of Herndon was last seen around 6:30 p.m. September 3, walking out of the Kohl’s store in the area of Signal Hill Plaza in Sterling.

She was located safe last night. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the public for their assistance.

ORIGINAL RELEASE

Loudoun County, VA (September 3, 2020) –The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance to help locate a missing senior citizen.

Joyce Alden, 76, of Herndon was last seen around 6:30 p.m. tonight walking out of the Kohl’s store in the area of Signal Hill Plaza in Sterling. She is believed to be on foot.

She has long gray hair that was in a ponytail and was last seen wearing a grey long-sleeved shirt and long black pants. The LCSO is concerned for her well-being due to mental and/or physical health concerns.
