Malicious Wounding Charge Filed Against Leesburg Woman
Herndon Police charged a Leesburg woman in connection with a June 1 malicious wounding incident.

HERNDON, VA — Herndon Police arrested a Leesburg woman in connection with a malicious wounding that took place June 1 in Herndon, according to the weekly police report. Police identified the suspect as 18-year-old Ta’Nyjha Davis.
Around 11:20 a.m., an argument broke out between Davis and the victim in the 400 block of Virginia Avenue. During the argument, the victim received a stab wound to their upper torso. The victim was taken to Reston Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police charged Davis with malicious wounding and transported her to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where she is being held without bond.

During the week of June 1-7 , Town of Herndon officers issued 37 traffic summons, including seven for driving with a suspended license and 1 for driving with no operators license.
