Man Accused of Stripping 3 Cars in Herndon of Tires, Rims
The Maryland man also faces charges for other similar thefts in Fairfax County.

HERNDON, VA — A Maryland man has been charged in seven incidents involving tire and rim thefts from vehicles throughout Fairfax County, including two in Herndon.
Police have charged 38-year-old Jason Brooks with seven counts of grand larceny with the intent to sell stolen property, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department, which noted that the charges were filed Jan. 25. Brooks was already in custody in Loudoun County on unrelated charges.
In addition to five thefts in Fairfax, Fairfax Station and Vienna, Brooks has also been charged with thefts involving two Chevrolet Corvettes in the 3000 block of Heritage Farm Court in Herndon back on March 21, 2016, and with a theft involving a 2015 GMS Sierra in the 13100 block of Bramblewood Lane in Herndon on March 29, 2016.
